HISTORY OF FEDIOSA

FEDIOSA is a non-profit organization which is made up of ex-students of Federal Government College Ikom. FEDIOSA was birth at the 10th Anniversary of the College in 1999. However, the association gained relevance and became very active in issues concerning our alma-mater following years of consistent alumni activities and trips to FGC Ikom, led by the UNICAL and CRUTECH alumni chapters in 2009. At present, the alumni is structured into six major chapters and 2 subchapters which are; Calabar, Abuja, Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Ikom and Uyo alumni chapters, respectively. The Calabar alumni chapter, which has the highest number of members further has two branches, which are the UNICAL and CRUTECH alumni branches, respectively. FEDIOSA is proud of her history of keeping alumni connected to the college and offering a wide array of opportunities for service. With an active membership of over 3,000 people, the alumni association serves as an important connection to the college for more than 6,000 alumni across the globe. FEDIOSA provides an avenue to share the legacy, spirit and pride of FEDIOSA worldwide. It is the vision of the alumni to continually strive to support our college aimed at positioning it ahead of other schools in Nigeria.
